REDUCTION OF FLEET FOR PARKS AND RECREATION Approve a reduction of fleet size for Parks and Recreation for the following: 1) Removal of unit 217, 1992 Chukar Trailer. 2) Removal of unit M07002778 – Water Pump Fire Suppression Parks and Recreation determined that replacement of these vehicles is not necessary for the effective operation of the Department. Both M07002778 and 217 are in poor repair and have been unused for an extensive period of time. Parks has determined that renting this type of unit would be more cost effective based on repair and maintenance, licensing, and other related costs should vehicles of this nature be required for future operating needs.
