DONATIONS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION Accept the restricted monetary donations of $1,000 from Bruce Newcomb for a memorial bench to be placed within McDowell Mountain Regional Park; a $1,000 from Robert Saxton for a memorial bench to be placed within McDowell Mountain Regional Park; and $500 from Robert Saxton for a donation to McDowell Mountain Regional Park. In addition, accept the restricted non-monetary donations of 400 admission tickets ($18,796 value) from Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix for the Parks and Recreation’s 2020 Interpretive Ranger summer programs and social media contest prizes. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 243 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-30-20-015-D-00)
