65. RECREATIONAL TRAIL LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA GAME AND FISH COMMISSION FOR MARICOPA TRAIL SEGMENT 14 Approve a Recreational Trail License Agreement (License Agreement) with Arizona Game and Fish Commission (Commission) for Maricopa County (County) to operate, utilize and maintain a portion of the Commission owned or controlled land within Section 33, Township 06 North, Range 02 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona, referred to as a portion of the Ben Avery Shooting Range (BASF) for a section of Maricopa Trail Segment 14 (Trail), as described in Exhibits A to and B to the License Agreement. No property interest in the use of the Trail is conveyed to the County. The County will use the licensed property for the sole purpose of the using the Trail as a non-motorized recreational trail as part of the County’s Trail system and the County will only be responsible to provide installation and maintenance of trail markers, gates, fencing and maintenance of other such improvements placed by the County. The term of this License Agreement shall be for ten (10) years from the date of the last signature. There is one ten (10) year renewal at the option of the Commission. AZ GAME & FISH HERITAGE FUND TRAIL CAMERA GRANT Accept and approve the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AGFD) awarded Heritage Grant for Trail Camera Monitoring Program funding in the amount of $1,938. The period of the grant is thirteen (13) months from date of signature of the Arizona Game and Fish Department Director. The department’s indirect cost rate for FY 2021 is 31.42%. Indirect costs are not recoverable and calculated to be $609. These costs will be absorbed by the Parks (D300) department in the FY21 Lake Fund (240) operating budget. Approve an appropriation adjustment increasing the FY21 Parks and Recreation Department (300), Parks and Recreation Grants Fund (230), Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) revenue and expenditure budgets by $1,938. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Also authorize the Parks and Recreation Department to sign necessary reporting and reimbursement paperwork to administer the grant. (C-30-21-002-X-00)
