42. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS FROM ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE MANAGEMENT Approve the receipt of grant funds from the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management (“DFFM”) for the Invasive Plant Grant Program in the amount not-to-exceed $87,000 (“Grant”), approve an appropriation adjustment increasing the FY21 Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department (“Department”) revenue and expenditure budgets and delegate the authority to the Director of the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department (“Department”) to execute all documents related to these grant funds. The grant is one-time for a period of twenty-four (24) months from date of signature of DFFM. The Department’s indirect cost rate for FY2021 is 31.42%. Indirect costs are not recoverable with 10% to be allowed as match. Calculated indirect costs for this grant award are $48,882.76 over two-years. These costs will be absorbed by the Department in the FY21 Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Fund operating budget. The appropriation adjustment increasing the FY21 Department’s (#300) Parks and Recreation Grants Fund (#230) Non-Recurring appropriation group (#NRNP) revenue and expenditure budgets by $43,500. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board of Supervisors pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Supervisory District #2.
