38. EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT VENDOR DONATION In accordance with the County’s Policy for Receiving Donations (A2508), accept a cash donation of $75.00 from Get Away Today. After Board acceptance of this donation, the total amount will be deposited into the County’s General Fund. Get Away Today is a member of Benefairs , the County’s employee discount program provider. The County’s relationship with Benefairs was originally approved by the Board on the 03/13/2019 agenda (C-31-01-015-8-01). With every employee discount purchase made by County employees, a donation to the County is made. (C-31-22-084-X-00)

After Board acceptance of this donation, the total amount will be deposited into the County’s General Fund. AZ Corporate Events, Inc. is a member of Benefairs , the County’s employee discount program provider. EXPAND THE COUNTY’S EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT PROGRAM Authorize and approve the: • Expansion of the County’s Employee Discount Program to include The Employee Network as an employee discount program vendor. • Update of the name of one of the County’s current employee discount program vendors, from Benefairs to Arizona Corporate Events. • End of the County’s relationship with the Employee Services Management Association (ESMA) as the local chapter no longer exists. In 2000, the Board of Supervisors approved an agenda item authorizing the County to use Employee Services Management Association (ESMA) as an employee discount program vendor. In 2019, the Board of Supervisors approved an agenda item to expand the County’s Employee Discount Program to include Benefairs (now known as Arizona Corporate Events), a group of vendors that separated from the ESMA’s local Phoenix chapter. By expanding the County’s Employee Discount Program to include Arizona Corporate Events and The Employee Network, County employees will continue to have access to hundreds of local and national discounts. Arizona Corporate Events and The Employee Network do not charge the County fees. (C-31-01-015-8-02)
