18. APPROPRIATED BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Approve increases in the appropriated budget for the Assistant County Manager (950) Department Non-Departmental Grant Fund (249) Non-Recurring, Non-Project (0001) in the amount of $1,116,262 in revenues and expenditures. This appropriation adjustment brings the Assistant County Manager's Department grant revenues and expenditures to the amount of $1,433,950. The appropriation adjustment is necessary because the award amount of the 2013 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) differs from the amount approved in the FY2013-14 Budget Appropriation. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this budget adjustment does not alter the budget containing the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. (C-31-14-028-G-00)
