30. 2018-19 WELLNESS INCENTIVES Approve the Wellness Incentive Plan for 2018-19 as described in the attached Exhibit A. The Wellness Incentive Program will give employees the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities (including financial wellness options) that will help them “know their numbers” and maintain or improve their health and well-being. Under the proposed plan, eligible employees will earn wellness incentives for 2018-19 by completing requirements during 2017-18. The list of activities for which points may be earned has been expanded to include “financial wellness” and completion of health coaching on chronic disease management provided by Cigna and UnitedHealthcare through the County’s medical benefit plans. Approval of this agenda item will also allow employees who did not, or were not able to, earn 2017-18 wellness incentives by June 30, 2017 to earn them from July 1, 2017 by meeting cri teria for 2018-19 incentives.
