REVISIONS TO POLICY HR2402 - PREDISCIPLINARY ACTION HEARING Approve revisions to Policy HR2402 Predetermination Hearing, which include the following: • Retitle to ‘Predetermination Hearing’ from ‘Predisciplinary Action Hearing’; • Refine language under ‘Purpose’ section • Add ‘Application’ and ‘Definitions’ sections • Align language with recent revisions to HR2401 (Employee Discipline) regarding disciplinary alternatives and proposed revisions to HR2431 (Performance Management) • Clarify policy guidance related to delivery of notice from “three to five days after delivery of notice” to “ no less than three business days following the date of personal delivery or certified mailing of notice” • Remove sample letters from policy as they will be incorporated as part of a separate resource document The policy will take effect upon Board approval.
