MARKET ADJUSTMENTS 4/4/22 IMPLEMENTATION Pursuant to A.R.S. §11-251 (38) and 251 (51), approve the market ranges below and direct the Office of Budget and Finance to adjust the department’s FY 2023 operating expenditure budgets between the tentative and final budget adoption for the annualized funding to implement the market adjustments as recommended by Human Resources. With the ever-increasing recruitment and retention challenges, Human Resources has identified the need to implement market adjustments for deputy constables, investigators, law enforcement officers, probation officers, and surveillance officers. Updated Salary Ranges • Deputy Constable: $25.50 - $33.40 ($53,040 - $69,472) • Investigator (Defense): $25.00 - $40.00 ($52,000 - $83,200) • Investigator (MCAO): $30.95 - $44.00 ($64,376 - $91,520) • Law Enforcement Officer Trainee: $25.00 ($52,000) • Law Enforcement Officer: $27.90 - $39.55 ($58,032 - $82,264) • Probation Officer Trainee: $24. 05 - $26.45 ($50,024 - $55,016) • Probation Officer: $26.45 - $36.20 ($55,016 - $75,296) • Surveillance Officer: $20.00 - $30.60 ($41,600 - $63,648) (C-31-22-078-X-00)
