2. DENTAL INSURANCE PROGRAM RATES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FY2010-11 1. Approve full and part-time employee and employer dental benefit rates for the fully insured Delta Dental Plan effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 for active employees as listed on the attached exhibit. 2. Approve full and part-time employee and employer dental benefit rates for the self-insured CIGNA Dental Plan effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 for active employees as listed on the attached exhibit. 3. Approve full and part-time employee and employer dental benefit rates for the fully insured Employers Dental Services Dental Plan effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 for active employees as listed on the attached exhibit. 4. Approve the dental benefit rates for retirees effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 as listed on the attached exhibit. The attached Rate Sheet illustrates the monthly Premium (Cost) and employer cost for the dental benefit offerings effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 for full-time and part-time active employees and retirees. There is no employer contribution towards the monthly cost of the retiree rates. 34. AMEND DENTAL INSURANCE PROGRAM RATES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FY2010-11 1. Approve the REVISED full and part-time employee and employer dental benefit rates for the fully insured Delta Dental Plan effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 for active employees. (List of revised dental rates on file in the Clerk of the Board's office) 2. Approve the REVISED dental benefit rates for retirees effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. (List of revised dental rates on file in the Clerk of the Board's office) The Cigna and EDS rates remain unchanged. The Board of Supervisors approved the dental benefit rates for the July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 fiscal year on agenda C-35-10-001-M-00. Subsequent to that time, improved pricing was negotiated with Delta Dental. The attached Rate Sheet illustrates the REVISED monthly Premium (Cost) and employer cost for the dental benefit offerings effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 for full-time and part-time active employees and retirees.
