25. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT GRANT FUND In accordance with A.R.S 42-17106(B) approve a revenue and expenditure increase in the appropriated budget for the Elections Department (D210) Elections Grant Fund (248), Non-Recurring/Non-Project (NRNP) in the amount of $2,644,425 as identified on the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Grant Summary Worksheet on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board and retained in accordance with LAPR approved retention schedule. The appropriation adjustment brings the Elections Department Grant Fund (248) budget to the total amount of $2,996,553 The appropriation adjustment is necessary as the carry forward amounts of prior year grants and award amounts of new grants differ from the amount approved in the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget Appropriation. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limit, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. The Maricopa County Elections Department composite indirect cost rate for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 is 68%. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $0. (C-36-21-002-X-00)
