34. FY 2022 BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR ELECTION COSTS In accordance with A.R.S.42-17106(B), approve a revenue and expenditure appropriation increase in the Elections Department (210) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) budget in an amount not to exceed $1,071,328. This adjustment is needed due to increased election costs associated jurisdictional primary and general elections held during FY 2022. The increase in expenditures is offset by the increase in revenue from the cities and towns. Intergovernmental revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of these funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S §42-17105. (C-36-22-008-X-00)
