19. APPLY AND ACCEPT TITLE I-PART D NEGLECTED OR DELINQUENT LEA GRANT ALONG WITH AMENDMENT ONE TO INCLUDE 2011 CARRY FORWARD FUNDS Approve the application for and acceptance of Title I - Part D – Neglected or Delinquent – LEA Grant (12FT1DEL-270696-02A) from the Arizona Department of Education in the amount of $102,732 along with Amendment One to add carry forward funds from the 2011 award in the amount of $46,995.56 for a total 2012 award of $149,727.56. The grant period for this award is 07/01/2011 through 06/30/2012. The purpose of this grant is to provide prevention and intervention programs for children and youth who are neglected, delinquent, or at-risk. MCESA’s indirect rate for 2012 is 15.9%. The grant allows for a .74% indirect rate. Total indirect costs are estimated to be $23,632 with $22,532 unrecoverable and $1,100 recoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. This action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-37-12-021-G-00)
