18. APPLY AND ACCEPT THE 2012 TITLE II-D STATEWIDE INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY PROJECT GRANT Approve the Application for and the acceptance of $114,114.26 for the Title II-D Statewide Instructional Technology Project Grant (12FETSTP-260950-01A) from Pima County through the Arizona Department of Education (ADE). The term of the grant will be one-year, beginning July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. As a subrecipient, Maricopa County receives $114,114.26 of the total award. The purpose of this grant is to provide training and support service to assist public, charter, and private schools in acquiring standards-based, instructional technology integration practices for K-12 subject areas. The term of the grant will be one-year, beginning July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. MCESA’s indirect rate for FY 2011-12 is 15.9 percent. The restricted indirect cost rate allowed by this grant source is 0.00 percent. Unrecoverable indirect costs on this award are $18,144.17. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. This action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-37-12-022-G-00)
