17. IGA WITH WICKENBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PARTICIPATE IN RACE TO THE TOP PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Wickenburg School District for the purpose of its desire to join a consortium to participate in Race to the Top (RTTT) professional development, technical assistance, and support services provided by MCESA in support of the development and implementation of a high-quality ELA Standards and Math Standards Implementation Plan, implementation of the Arizona 2010 ELA Standards and Math Standards (Common Core) using STEM as the vehicle, and completion of the Course Mapping Process and the Student-Teacher Connection. The parties agree to cooperate and assist each other in meeting these goals because they support education to benefit the students, the District, and the community. The term of this Agreement is July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2017, a period of four (4) years or expires upon completion of all agreed upon services. (C-37-13-001-3-01)
