19. IGAS WITH VARIOUS SCHOOL DISTRICTS FOR REWARDING EXCELLENCE IN INSTRUCTION – THE NEXT GENERATION Approve 7 FY 2013 Intergovernmental Agreements for the purpose of implementing the Rewarding Excellence in Instruction and Leadership Program – The Next Generation. These Intergovernmental Agreements are funded by a grant from US Department of Education, (US Department of Education). The Districts joins with the Rewarding Excellence in Instruction and Leadership—The Next Generation alliance to design and implement a sustainable Human Capital Management System (HCMS) with instructional improvement at its core, to ensure that the District’s students will be prepared to graduate career and/or college ready with no exceptions! The Parties agree to cooperate and assist each other in meeting the REIL Program goals because they support education and benefits the District’s students, instruction, leadership, schools and community. This Agreement shall become effective from and after the date of its execution and expires December 31, 2017.
