22. SOLE SOURCE WITH BATELLE FOR KIDS AWARD AND LINK SOFTWARE Approve a sole source procurement with Batelle for Kids (BFK) for the period of February 11, 2015 through September 30, 2017. The value of this procurement is $1,477,712. BFK is the only vendor of its kind that allows for a commercial, off the shelf software for the collection and verification of data for value added reports, job classifications and other data necessary to verify and calculate performance compensation awards. As part of the Rewarding Excellence in Instruction and Leadership (REIL) grants, MCESA needs a technology solution to transparently show teachers and principals the eligibility criteria used to calculate and establish strategic performance compensation using a value-added model. Additionally, the solution must electronically track reported inaccuracies and maintain an audit trail of the resolution of such inaccuracies. This solution must be integrated with Student Information Systems, HR Systems, and Evaluation Systems. (C-37-15-007-G-00)
