20. GRANT FUNDS FROM THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE OF YOUTH, FAITH AND FAMILY FOR EDUCATION TUTORING Approve acceptance of $179,866 in grant funds from the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family CFDA No. 94.006. These funds come from the Corporation for National and Community Services (CNCS) administered by the Arizona Governor’s Office. The total grant amount is $238,356 which includes a match of $58,490. The grant agreement is from September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016. The department's indirect cost rate for FY 2016 is 8.5%. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $8,565.05; the non-recoverable indirect cost is $5,995.53. Grant revenues are not "local revenues" for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget request does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. This Grant deviates from County Policy A2505 and does not allow for full indirect cost reimbursement, but a maximum of 5% indirect cost reimbursement as delegated in the Grant Agreement. 23. AMENDMENT TO GRANT FUNDS FROM THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE OF YOUTH, FAITH AND FAMILY FOR AMERICORPS STATE GRANT PROGRAM Approve Amendment No. 1 with the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family for the AmeriCorps State Grant Program (CFDA No. 94.006). This amendment changes the term of the contract effective date from August 31, 2016, to the earlier termination date of January 6, 2016. Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, or designee, to sign all documents related to this award. (C-37-16-004-G-01)
