22. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR EVENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Approve an Intergovernmental Service Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (IGA) between the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) and Maricopa County through the Maricopa County Education Service Agency. This IGA outlines the responsibilities of each of the party. ADE has developed an Event Management System (EMS) that it believes will assist Arizona districts, charters, county school superintendents, and regional education centers to more efficiently provide services to their students, teachers, and communities. It is ADE’s intent to allow MCESA to utilize this product and MCESA has made the election to use this product. This Agreement is effective for a period of up to one year from the date of execution, and can be renewed for additional one-year terms, or be terminated by either party in accordance with Section 7. Each renewal shall be effective for a one-year term or a portion thereof, upon agreement of the LEA and ADE. First year all-inclusive annual user license expense is $20,000 to be paid from grant funds. (C-37-16-010-3-00)
