20. GRANT FUNDS FROM FREEPORT-MCMORAN FOUNDATION FOR MATH 20/20 Approve the acceptance of $388,530 in grant funds from the Freeport-McMoran Foundation. The two year grant period is from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018. The department's indirect cost rate for FY 2017 is 9.6%. The recoverable indirect cost of this grant is $28,780; the non-recoverable indirect cost is $5,756. Grant revenues are not "local revenues" for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget request does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, or designee, to sign all documents related to this award. (C-37-17-001-G-00)
