17. SUB-GRANTEE AGREEMENT FROM ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Retroactively, approve the Subgrantee Agreement from the Arizona Department of Education in the amount of $150,000. The purpose of this agreement is for MCESA to provide, in collaboration with ADE, regionally based service, support and technical assistance to local education agencies in successfully implementing the Arizona Aligning Efforts for Talent Development program (USDOE Jacob K. Javits Gifted Education Grant, CFDA 84.206A). The Grant period is from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2018. MCESA’s indirect rate for 2017 is 9.6%. MCESA's approved indirect cost rate for this grant is 0.00%. The total indirect costs are $14,400. Estimated unallowable indirect costs are $14,400. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. This action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-37-17-003-G-00)
