16. IGA WITH GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF YOUTH, FAITH AND FAMILY FOR YOUTH ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family and Maricopa County through the Education Service Agency (MCESA) in the amount of $29,127. This IGA is effective from July 1, 2016, through January 31, 2017. The purpose of this agreement is to provide a SABG cost-reimbursement grant award to MCESA as pass-through funding to the Arizona College Preparatory School (Chandler Unified School District) for implementation of the Healthy Families-Healthy Schools Pilot Program The department's indirect cost rate for FY 2017 is 9.6%. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $2,648 or 10%; the non-recoverable indirect cost is $0.00. Grant revenues are not "local revenues" for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget request does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, or designee, to sign all documents related to this award. (C-37-17-004-3-00)
