28. IGAS WITH VARIOUS SCHOOL DISTRICTS FOR REWARDING EXCELLENCE IN INSTRUCTION Approve five (5) FY 2017 - 2021 Intergovernmental Agreements (IGA) for the purpose of defining the responsibilities of partners to carry out the grant activity. These IGAs are funded by a grant from United States Department of Education (USDOE), (C-37-16). The Districts join with the Rewarding Excellence in Instruction and Leadership "(REIL)—Extend" alliance to design and implement a sustainable Human Capital Management System (HCMS) with instructional improvement at its core, to ensure that the District’s students will be prepared to graduate career and/or college ready with no exceptions! The Parties agree to cooperate and assist each other in meeting the REIL Program goals because they support education and benefits the District’s students, instruction, leadership, schools and community.
