12. EXEMPTION TO SURPLUS POLICY A2510 FOR THE EDUCATION SERVICE AGENCY Approve an exemption to Maricopa County Surplus Policy A2510, for the Education Service Agency through December 31, 2018, that allows for removing surplus items that are non-capital items from MCESA, and provide them to both Teachers and Schools where they will have value added to the education community. MCESA has some Functionally and Technologically supplies that are obsolete to the Agency but have a value to both Teachers and School Districts. In lieu of sending these supplies to Salvage and auction, we are requesting an exemption that will allow the County School Superintendent to use these items as a support to our Maricopa County teachers and schools.
