17. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Approve an increase to the FY 2022 transfer of funds from the General Fund to the Detention fund for the Jail Excise Maintenance of Effort Above Base Transfer Out in the amount of $33,563. Approve the following adjustments to the FY 2022 operating budget: 1. Increase County School Superintendent (D370) Detention Fund (255) Operating (OPER) expenditure appropriation by $33,563. 2. Decrease the County School Superintendent (D370) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) expenditure appropriation by $33,563. 3. Increase the Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) expenditure appropriation by $33,563 4. Increase the Non Departmental (D470) Detention Fund (255) Operating (OPER) revenue appropriation by $33,563. 5. Offset revenue and expenditure adjustments for the additional fund transfer in the Eliminations (D980) Eliminations Fund (900) Operating (OPER) budget in the amount of $33,563. During the FY 2022 budget process, the County School Superintendent requested three transition facilitators with an annualized budget of $275,015. Since the time of the request, there was a tweak to one position being in the leadership role. In addition, the placement in range (including equity issues) is causing the total of the three positions to be $308,578. As a result of this internal shift in funding, the three positions will be fully funded and in compliance with county policy. (C-37-22-011-X-00)
