20. EXTENSION OF U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TEACHER INCENTIVE FUND GRANT Approve the continuation of federal grant funding from the US Department of Education’s Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) to Maricopa County through the Maricopa County School Superintendent's Office. The term of the grant is amended to six years beginning October 1, 2016, through September 30, 2022. PR/Award Number; U374A160041 CFDA: 84.374A This extension will allow the School Superintendent's Office to complete the work on the Human Capital Management System work that began in 2016. This is a no cost extension and carry-forward funding is being used for year 6 of this project. The appropriation is budgeted in the FY2022 School Superintendent grant budget authority and does not require an appropriation adjustment. Carry forward is approximately $6,000,000.
