29. CONTRACT WITH GREATER PHOENIX CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU FOR NONPROFIT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDING Approve a Contract between Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau and Maricopa County administered by its Department of Business Strategies and Health Care Programs, in an amount not-to-exceed $250,000. The purpose of this Contract is to provide FY 2012 non-profit economic development funding to the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau for purposes to include attracting conventions, conferences and meetings; marketing and communications; the promotion of leisure travel; and other related activities. This Contract is effective from July 1, 2011 until June 30, 2012. (C-39-12-009-3-00)
