A-1. EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SETTLEMENT CASE NO 13809933 Approve the third-party recovery settlement of $20,000.00 in Employee Benefits Case No 13809933 for medical and related claims. The Employee Benefits Trust paid $213,356.94 in medical and related claims for a covered individual who was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The tortfeasor’s motor vehicle insurance carrier settled the claim for policy limits of $100,000.00. The Board is requested to approve the compromise of the Plan’s medical lien in the amount of $20,000.00. This item was discussed in executive session on August 6, 2012. (C-39-13-014-S-00)
