34. APPOINTMENTS TO THE RYAN WHITE PLANNING COUNCIL Approve the following new appointments to the Ryan White Planning Council for three year terms, effective on the date of the BOS approval: Michael Slim - General Public Representative; Bruce Weiss – Alternate for Len Stewart, Service Provider, Southwest Center for HIV. Approve the reappointment of Abdul Hasan – Service Provider, Ebony House; Daniel Lindell – Institutional Member, Avella Pharmacy, to the Ryan White Planning Council for a three year term, effective April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2017. Consistent with Article III of the Bylaws of the Phoenix EMA Ryan White Planning Council and after satisfactory completion of the pre-screening processes approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for existing and new Planning Council members, the County Manager recommends the appointment of Michael Slim - General Public Representative, for a three year term, effective on the date of the BOS approval; the appointment of Bruce Weiss - Alternate for Len Stewart, Service Provider, Southwest Center for HIV, for the remainder of Len’s term (January 7, 2017); the reappointment of Abdul Hasan - Service Provider, Ebony House and Daniel Lindell - Institutional Member, Avella Pharmacy for a three year term effective April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2017. The Membership Committee of the Ryan White Planning Council has confirmed that the individuals listed above represent membership categories consistent with the Council Bylaws and federally mandated membership requirements.
