37. APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE RYAN WHITE PLANNING COUNCIL Approve the following new appointments to the Ryan White Planning Council for three year terms, effective on the first day of the month following BOS approval: Carmen Batista – Ryan White Part B Representative; and Felicia Starks, General Public Representative. Approve the appointment of Julie Rosen, Alternate for Guillermo Velez, Service Provider, Chicanos Por La Causa, to the Ryan White Planning Council for the same term as Mr. Velez’s (March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2019). Approve the reappointment of Edward Tisdale – General Public Representative to the Ryan White Planning Council for a three year term, effective February 1, 2016 through January 31, 2019; Gil Velez -Service Provider, Chicanos Por La Causa to the Ryan White Planning Council for a three year term, effective March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2019; Cheri Tomlinson - Ryan White Part D, to the Ryan White Planning Council for a three year term, effective March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2019; and Nicole Turcotte – Alternate for Cheri Tomlinson, Ryan White Part D, for the same term as Ms. Tomlinson’s. Correct the record to reflect that Council member Jimmy Borders is now an alternate for Carmen Batista, rather than a full member. Consistent with Article III of the Bylaws of the Phoenix EMA Ryan White Planning Council and after satisfactory completion of the pre-screening processes approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for existing and new Planning Council members, the County Manager recommends the appointment of Carmen Batista– Ryan White Part B Representative, and Felicia Sparks, General Public Representative each for a three year term, effective on the first day of the month following BOS approval; Julie Rosen - Alternate for Guillermo Velez, Service Provider for the same term as his; the reappointment of Edward Tisdale, General Public for a three year term, effective February 1, 2016 through January 31, 2019; Guillermo Velez, Service Provider, Cheri Tomlinson, Service Provider, Nicole Turcotte, Alternate for Ms. Tomlinson each for a three year term, effective March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2019. The Membership Committee of the Ryan White Planning Council has confirmed that the individuals listed above represent membership categories consistent with the Council Bylaws and federally mandated membership requirements.
