44. RESOLUTION OF MARICOPA COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS MERIT SYSTEM COMMISSION Approve revisions to the Law Enforcement Officers Merit System Resolution. In accordance with the Law Enforcement Officers Merit System Resolution and Arizona Revised Statute 11-1001 et seq., on December 19, 2016, the Law Enforcement Officers Merit System Commission approved revisions to Law Enforcement Officers Merit System Rule 2.03 (Exemptions) and Rule 12.07 (Supervision of Covered Employees), which will become effective on January 18, 2017. In order to ensure consistency between the Rules and the Resolution, a revision to Section 6 (Exemptions) of the Resolution is being requested for BOS approval. (C-39-17-012-6-00)
