35. SOLE SOURCE FOR ADP AND PEOPLESOFT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT Approve sole source purchases from bid serial 05115-S for the purpose of supporting ADP and PeopleSoft due to the extension of the ADP go-live date. As a result of the extension date, the county payroll function needs to be supported by the current PeopleSoft HRMS application. Contractors will be released after the ADP go-live date and transition period support the PeopleSoft payroll system. Since PeopleSoft is the current enterprise payroll system, the bi-weekly payroll needs to be completed in a timely manner as the knowledge transfer to new contractors can pose a significant risk to the PeopleSoft payroll system. The contractors also work on the ADP transition, have specific corporate knowledge critical to the ADP tasks, and go-live date. This purchase will fund the contractors through December 2010, (the anticipated go-live and transition timeframe) for a total not-to-exceed amount of $721,360 for FY 2011. The vendors are Comsys (C-41-10-010-3-00), Hudson Global Resources (C-41-10-011-3-00), Meridian Technology Group (C-41-10-012-3-00), Technology Staffing Solutions (C-41-10-013-3-00), and Vault Digital LLC (C-41-10-014-3-00).
