36. SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH MCM TECHNOLOGY FOR UPGRADE OF MCM DATA NETWORK/WIRELESS WORK ORDER SYSTEM Approve a sole source contract, 10108-SS, in the amount of $140,000 with MCM Technology for a five year period to upgrade the County’s MCM software database. The County’s MCM software database is currently utilized by the Office of Enterprise Technology’s Data Network/Wireless operations for work order, inventory and asset management. MCM’s software database, which is still in use today, was originally purchased in 2003. This database, however, is no longer supported by MCM. Over the years, MCM has upgraded their software several times, leaving the County in dire need to upgrade this product in order to keep the system current and under maintenance support.
