A-3. AMENDMENT TO FIVE-YEAR TECHNOLOGY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN - CALL CENTER In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2014 Non Departmental (470) Technology Capital Improvement Fund (460): a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Contact Center System Project (CALL) by $350,000 from $1,023,801 to $673,801. This project is near completion and will come in under the original budget by over a million dollars. The total revised budget is now $3,895,697. b) Create a new project and budget expenditure in the amount of $350,000 for a consultant to conduct an internal study of the Office of Enterprise Technology’s (OET) internal service management processes and supporting systems, including work orders, help desk, wireless radio management, telecom, and application development. These actions will have a county-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this action allows OET to re-appropriate the savings from the Contact Center Project in order to obtain detailed recommendations and plans to implement internal process improvements and new, highly integrated service management systems that will efficiently and effectively support OET operations.
