40. MICROSOFT ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT RENEWAL Approve a(n) Agreement between Microsoft and Maricopa County through the Enterprise Technology, in the not-to-exceed amount of $13,533,900. The purpose of this Agreement is to renew the County's Enterprise Agreement (EA), ensuring continued and authorized licensing of Microsoft products including Windows, Office, Exchange (email), and SharePoint. This Agreement is effective from August 1, 2017 until July 31, 2020. Also, authorize the Office of Procurement Services to sign the Agreement on behalf of Maricopa County and direct the Budget Office to increase the operating and no-recurring budget in the second and third year of this Enterprise Agreement (see attached schedule) which is in alignment with briefing materials. The current Enterprise Agreement (EA) with Microsoft expires on July 31, 2017, therefore the renewal is necessary to ensure continued and authorized licensing of Microsoft products including Windows, Office, Exchange (email) and SharePoint. The EA is the result of extensive analysis completed by the Microsoft EA Subcommittee led by OET and comprised of members from other departments including the County Attorney’s Office, Sheriff’s Office, Clerk of the Superior Court, Superior Court, MCDOT, and the Assessor’s Office. The EA supports the County’s transition towards user-based licenses and Office 365 (hosted service). (C-41-18-002-3-00)
