40. INCREASE TELECOMMUNICATIONS REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE BUDGET FY 2021 In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following appropriation adjustments to the FY 2021 Telecommunications budget: 1. Increase the FY 2021 expenditure and revenue budgets for the Enterprise Technology (D410) Telecommunications (681) Operating (OPER) by $2,758,064. 2. Offsetting expenditure and revenue adjustments in the Eliminations (D980) Eliminations Fund (900) Operating (OPER) in the amount of $2,736,689. 3. Offsetting expenditure and revenue adjustments in the Eliminations County/Districts (D990) Eliminations Fund (900) Operating (OPER) in the amount of $21,375. This appropriation adjustment is needed to increase the OET telecommunication budget to account for increased device counts and usage for mobile devices and increased usage of long-distance and phone services. Budgeted amounts for FY21 did not account for the substantial increase in usage related to Elections, pandemic response, and telework. A detailed department breakdown that shows the increases is attached in this submission. This action will have a net zero impact on the overall County budget. (C-41-21-004-X-00)
