2. IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR SUMMER EVENTS Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement in the amount of $15,000 with the City of Phoenix to support at least five youth- and family-oriented summer weekend evening special events to be sponsored jointly by Maricopa County and the City of Phoenix. The events will be held at City of Phoenix Parks and/or Community Centers in the South Phoenix area that is the focus of the Crime Prevention Plan presented to the Board of Supervisors in March 2008. The funds will reimburse unbudgeted City of Phoenix Department of Parks and Recreational staff salaries for expanded work hours associated with planning and executing the events, marketing costs associated with engaging the community, event refreshments and collateral materials. This Agreement is subject to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511. (C-42-09-001-3-00)
