22. OFFER ON TAX DEEDED LAND PARCEL 220-19-002P (Supervisorial District 2) The Maricopa County Treasurer’s Office received the following offer to purchase parcel 220-19-002P. This offer is subject to consideration and approval by the Board of Supervisors. No additional offers on the parcel will be considered. Parcel Number – 220-19-002P Date Previously Offered – N/A Purchaser / Name for the Deed – Keith and Peggy Martin Offer Amount – $251.67 Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303, the County may sell parcel no. 220-19-002P (tax-deeded land held by the State of Arizona) directly to a purchaser if certain requirements are met. Here, the purchaser’s offer to purchase the tax-deeded land is made pursuant to subsection F, based on their status as a contiguous property owner in compliance with the statutory requirements. The Assessor’s Office’s subsection F review is attached. If the Board of Supervisors accepts the offer to purchase parcel 220-19-002P, the Treasurer’s Office will accept payment and prepare the quit claim deed to convey the property to the winning bidder and deliver it to the Clerk of the Board for further processing. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303(C), the proceeds of the winning bid shall be paid to the County Treasurer. After deducting and distributing interest, penalties, fees, and costs charged against parcel 220-19-002P, the Treasurer shall apportion the remaining proceeds pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-18303(C).
