WATER TRUCKS Case #: TA2019006 Supervisor Districts: All Districts Applicant / Owners: Commission-initiated Request: Text Amendment – Water Trucks Commission Recommendation: On 10/8/20, the Commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of TA2019006 with the following language: 10. Home occupations, subject to the following: r. Notwithstanding the above, a home occupation for an employee of a water hauling company where a maximum of two water trucks that are registered, operable and actively used in the conduct of the business by the residents may be parked at their residence on a lot in a rural zoning district and within an area not served by a public water system provided the truck is available for emergency response for fire suppression (registered with the local fire district or department), and provided said lot is not located within 500’ of the boundary of another lot housing such a truck.
