MAINTAIN TEXT AMENDMENT TO MARICOPA COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE, TA2020002 RELATED TO THE ADULT USE OF RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA Maintain the zoning regulations related to the adult use of recreational marijuana. On 3/10/21 the Board adopted TA2020002, a text amendment to the Maricopa County Zoning Ordinance incorporating definitions, use regulations and development standards related to the adult use of recreational marijuana. The matter was adopted as an emergency measure with 24-hour vesting and effect, which requires it be reviewed by the Board after 60 days for determination if it should be revoked or maintained. Adult use of recreational marijuana still remains legal according to Arizona Revised Statutes and there are no concerns with the adopted regulations; therefore, the Department recommends maintaining the related zoning regulations.( All Districts) (C-44-21-258-X-00)
