15. RADIO FUND TRANSFER Approve a fund transfer of $2,065,961 from the Detention Fund (255) to the General Fund (100) for radio charges attributable to detention officers that have erroneously been charged to the General Fund during FY08 and FY09. Approve a transfer of expenditure authority within Non Departmental (470) Detention Fund (255) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) from General Contingency to a new budget item, “Internal Service Charges.” Approve a revenue appropriation increase in Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) of $2,065,961, an expenditure appropriation increase of $2,065,961 in Non Departmental (470) Non Departmental Grants (249) Non Recurring Non Project, and offsetting adjustments in Eliminations. The additional expenditure authority within Non Departmental (470) Non Departmental Grants (249) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) will be added to the contingency budget item “Potential Expenditures from Fund Balance.” Approve a transfer of $705,901 in expenditure authority within the appropriated budget for Non Departmental (470) Detention Fund (255) Operating (0000) from General Contingency to “Base-Level Internal Service Charges” and a transfer of $705,901 in expenditure authority within the appropriated budget for Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) from “Base-Level Internal Service Charges” to General Contingency. A-4. AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT REGARDING RADIO TRANSFER Approve an amendment to the original action approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 4, 2010 under agenda item C-49-10-036-M-00. All of the original agenda language is correct. This amendment adds the following: Approve a transfer of expenditure appropriation from Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) to Non Departmental (470) Detention Operations Fund (255) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) in the amount of $2,065,961, the adjustment to be made in General Contingency in both funds. This amendment is necessary to correct the original appropriation adjustment in order to comply with statutes. (C-49-10-036-M-01)
