1. PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MARICOPA COUNTY FY 2011 TENTATIVE BUDGET Convene a public hearing, pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17104 and A.R.S. §42-17105 to hear taxpayers who may wish to comment on the FY 2011 Tentative Budget which was adopted May 24, 2010, and any proposed changes, and on the proposed tax levy. On January 11, 2010 the Board of Supervisors approved the “FY 2011 Budgeting for Results Guidelines and Priorities,” which established the Board’s direction for development of the FY 2011 budget. Departments used these guidelines to prepare and submit their budgets. Budget requests have been extensively reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The Judicial Branch and all elected officials reached agreement with OMB on their budget recommendations, with the exception of the Sheriff and the former County Attorney. In coordination with the County Manager, the FY 2011 Recommended Budget was adopted by the Board as the FY 2011 Tentative Budget on May 24, 2010. The Tentative Budget was published as required by statute. (C-49-10-057-2-00)
