4. MELENDRES VICTIMS RESTITUTION FUND In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendments to the FY 2015 budget: a. Decrease the expenditure appropriation for the Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) MCSO Judgment Order Non Recurring Non Project budget (MEL1) in the amount of $350,000. b. Increase the expenditure appropriation for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) MCSO Judgment Order Non Recurring Non Project budget (MEL1) in the amount of $350,000 for a new Victims Restitution Fund line item. This reduction to the Sheriff’s Office budget will fund a Victims Restitution Fund for claims associated with the Melendres case. If the $350,000 is determined to be insufficient, an additional action item will need to be presented to the Board of Supervisors to approve additional funding. (C-49-15-041-2-00)
