37. CONTRACT WITH GREATER PHOENIX ECONOMIC COUNCIL FOR NONPROFIT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDING IN FY2015/2016 Approve a Contract between Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) and Maricopa County administered by its Office of Management and Budget, in an amount not-to-exceed $573,675. The purpose of this Contract is to Provide FY 2016 non-profit economic development funding to the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) for purposes to include regional marketing and promotion to improve the region’s business image, industry prospecting to diversify the economy through the attraction and expansion of desirable business and industry in key economic clusters, and facilitating regional economic development collaborations to build a strong business climate and develop an effective regional economic development network of organizations with a common vision and mission. This Contract is effective from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. (C-49-15-065-3-00)
