40. MARKET ADJUSTMENTS FOR MITIGATION SPECIALISTS Approve Market Adjustments for Mitigation Specialist, Capital Mitigation Specialist, Mitigation Supervisor and Capital Mitigation Supervisor in Public Defender (D520), Legal Defender (D540), Legal Advocate (D550), and Public Advocate (D570). Also, in accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the transfer of Operating expenditure appropriation between Non Departmental (D470), General Fund (100) and the Public Defense Departments (D520-D570) General Fund (100). This action will require the following adjustments to the FY 2018 Budget: a) Decrease the expenditure appropriation in the Non-Departmental (D470), General Fund (100), Operating (OPER) Contingency budget in the line “Compensation” by $163,523, and b) Increase the expenditure appropriation in the Public Defender (D520) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER): $114,700, and c) Increase the expenditure appropriation in the Legal Defender (D540) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER): $15,639, and d) Increase the expenditure appropriation in the Legal Advocate (D550) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER): $13,954, and e) Increase the expenditure appropriation in the Public Advocate (D570 General Fund (100) Operating (OPER): $19,230. The FY 2017 impact of these Market Adjustments, $6,265, can be absorbed by the departments. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero, and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to ARS 42-17105.
