ACCEPT REIMBURSEMENT FUNDS FOR HEALTH PLAN BENEFITS PAID BY THE MARICOPA MANAGED CARE SYSTEMS Accept monetary reimbursement checks in the total amount of $3,236.90 from the United States Treasury and the State of Arizona for third party liability recovery activities in connection with claims paid by AHCCCS and its Health Plans and Program Contractors as total plan claims and deposit into the General Fund (100). Maricopa Managed Care Systems provided health benefits to indigent residents until 2005. The Recovery Unit (RU) of Health Management Systems (HMS) has verified that these claims are total plan claims and that AHCCCS has no re-insurance interest in these cases and is not due this recovery money. HMS has forwarded the check to Maricopa County as reimbursement for these total plan claims. All liens associated to similar claims were released in FY 2014. (C-49-18-025-2-00)
