CONTRACT WITH GREATER PHOENIX ECONOMIC COUNCIL FOR NON-PROFIT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDING IN FY 2021 Approve a Contract between Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) and Maricopa County, administered by its Budget Office, in an amount not-to-exceed $685,941. The purpose of this Contract is to provide FY 2021 non-profit economic development funding to the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) for purposes to include regional marketing and promotion to improve the region's business image, industry prospecting to diversify the economy through the attraction and expansion of desirable business and industry in key economic clusters, facilitating regional economic development collaborations to build a strong business climate and develop an effective regional economic development network of organizations with a common vision and mission, and coordinating Foreign Trade Zone requests. This Contract is effective from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. (C-49-21-000-X-00)
