11. INCREASE TO SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR BULL GCOS8 AND DBSP LICENSE PRICE Approve an increase to the three-year pricing for Contract 08117, a Sole Source contract with BULL HN Information Systems. The amount of the increase is $607,223 for licensing fees and mission critical software support for the Bull GC058 operating system and includes tax and is applicable beginning December 1, 2011 through December 16, 2014. This is the operating system for the Jail Management System (JMS), a mission-critical software application for the Sheriff's Office. No other vendor provides this product; Bull owns the copyright licensing for GCOS8. There are no other applications that can be used for JMS NovaScale hardware. (C-50-08-014-8-03)

INCREASE AMOUNT OF CONTRACT #08117 SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH BULL HN INFORMATION SYSTEMS-SS BULL NOVASCALE Approve an increase to the amount of Contract 08117, a Sole Source contract with Bull HN Information Systems, in the amount of $1,870,309 to fund costs through FY 13/14 of this multi-year contract. This is the operating system for the Jail Management System (JMS), a mission-critical software application for the sheriff's Office. No other vendor provides this product; Bull owns the copyright licensing for this software and there are no other applications that can be used for the JMS NovaScale hardware. The estimated cost through FY 13/14 is $2,587,731. The remaining balance on the contract is $717,422. (C-50-08-014-8-05)

INCREASE AMOUNT ON CONTRACT #08117 WITH BULL HN INFORMATION SYSTEMS-SS BULL NOVASCALE Approve an increase to the expenditure amount authorized on Contract No. 08117, a Sole Source contract with Bull HN Information Systems, of $932,821.57 to fund FY 2015 costs for software and support on this contract through December 16, 2014. This will bring the three year total to $4,323,663.22. Approval of this item allows the operating system for the Jail Management System (JMS), a mission-critical software application for the sheriff's Office to continue being supported. No other vendor provides this product; Bull owns the copyright licensing for this software and there are no other applications that can be used for the JMS NovaScale hardware. This cost is included in the FY 2015 budget recommendation for the Sheriff's Office. (C-50-08-014-8-06)
