11. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE CITY OF MESA FOR PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES (COPS) METH INITIATIVE Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors acting on behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Mesa, an Arizona Municipal Corporation for the Mesa Police Department. This amendment extends the expiration date of the Agreement from August 31, 2009 until August 31, 2010. The original Agreement was approved by the Board of Supervisors on December 3, 2008 (C-50-09-044-3-00) with term of October 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009. This amendment is for the term only, there are no additional grant funds. (C-50-09-044-3-01)
