12. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE CITY OF TEMPE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES (COPS) METH INITIATIVE Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors acting on behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Tempe, an Arizona Municipal Corporation for the Tempe Police Department. This amendment extends the expiration date of the Agreement from August 31, 2009 until August 31, 2010. The original Agreement was approved by the Board of Supervisors on May 20, 2009 (C-50-09-070-3-00) with term of April 1, 2009 through August 31, 2009. This amendment is for the term only, there are no additional grant funds. (C-50-09-070-3-01)
